Examples of our work.
New strategy for a not-for-profit organisation
Following a strategic Board review and some key staff changes on the leadership team, this not for profit organisation needed to develop a new 3 year strategy and operating plan for year 1.
Working with the organisation’s CEO we developed a process to engage the leadership team in co-creating the strategy and operating plan this included:
Designing and delivering a dynamic facilitated away day for the leadership team focused on cross-team working
Preparation of materials in advance of and for the away day
Report and write up of the away day including actions and priorities from the day
Key outcomes included:
A shared understanding of the Board review and an agreed strategy to deliver the organisation’s objectives
Improved collaboration across teams with agreement on organisational priorities and a template for an operating plan
Strategic plan for a public sector body
A newly established public sector body needed to bring together Board members and the executive leadership team to co-create the organisation’s strategic plan.
Together with the Managing Director we co-designed a strategy development process comprising:
Two half day workshops to co-create the strategic plan
1 to 1 interviews with participants conducted after the first workshop to ensure everyone’s voice was heard and reflections post workshop were captured
Key outcomes included:
Discussion and buy-in to the organisation’s vision and values
A shared recognition of the opportunities and challenges ahead
Agreement on the long term goals and first 12 month’s objectives and priorities
A template for the strategic business plan
